Terms of use

The beta
Dropeen is in beta. It's free while the beta lasts, and it may change, have problems or be unavailable at times. We provide it "as is", without warranties, as far as the law allows. Keep copies of anything important that you keep on your desktop.
Your account
You need an email address you control. You're responsible for what happens on your account and on desktops you own, including what the people you invite do there. Keep access to your email safe: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
Using Dropeen fairly
Use Dropeen for your own desktop and the people you trust with it. Don't:
- break the law, or the rules of other services you use through your desktop. Many work platforms don't allow someone else to work on your account or from your connection: Dropeen doesn't change those rules;
- use it to send spam, attack other systems, or as a proxy or VPN for other people's traffic;
- run non-stop automated use that's designed to consume streaming time;
- try to get around its limits or security, or into other people's desktops.
We may suspend or close accounts that do, and remove access to desktops that put others at risk.
Your PC and your desktop
The desktop runs on your PC, uses its resources and its internet connection, and keeps it awake while Dropeen runs. What you install and store on your desktop is yours and your responsibility.
Plans and payment
The beta is free. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you first, and you'll only pay if you choose one. The free plan's limits may change.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, lost work or lost earnings from using or being unable to use Dropeen during the beta.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and tell you about significant changes. You can stop using Dropeen at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end the beta with reasonable notice.
